Kick Off the New Year Right Ride - 2016 Edition (Brisk)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
While traditionally a kickoff day for football, this year we will be riding our Kick-Off the New Year Right Ride to help kick-off your 2016 New Year resolution to ride more (you did make that resolution last night didn't you?)! We'll start in Kirkland at Marina Park and head southward toward the I-90 corridor running largely along the waterfront streets. We'll return inland a bit up Rose Hill and finish with the Kirkland waterfront.
There is a rest room available at the start location. No further stops are planned in this 28 mile route. This socially oriented ride will be conducted at a brisk pace (17 mph on flat terrain, self pace up hills and regroup at hill tops). Riders should have 2 tubes, a pump, and know how to use them.
Please register for the ride by: signing into (or creating) a Cascade account, click the Register button, click the waiver release box and complete the Emergency Contact Number, click on save and you are registered. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register"!
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
