Ride the Lakes and Hills in the Sun

The weather forecast for sun and 45 degrees F, and maybe one of the last sunny days this year. This ride offers views of Lakes Samammish and Washington and uses bike trails and bike lanes.  At the end of the ride, when we are warmed up, we will do 3 well known hills and return to Brierwood Park.  However those not wishing to do the hills can by pass them and return to Brierwood Park using the route we rode earlier.  We will stop for coffee and a snack in Issaquah at about the 25 mile mark.  Pace: Brisk means 16-18 mph on flat ground.  Speed will be less going up hill and may be faster down hill.

Meet at the City of Brier's Brierwood Park, where parking is available.  Please arrive by 945 AM so that we can complete the CBC ride wavier and safety talk so that we can ride at 10AM.  Bathrooms are available at Brierwood Park and along the way if needed.  

What to wear:   Pants, and a light coat would be useful. The weather is forcast to be approximately 43 degrees F, and did I mention sunny?

Riders must be prepared to fix their own flat tires, but we will wait for them.

As with all CBC rides a good fitting helmet must be worn, and ears must be free to hear all sounds.  

I will be wearing a yellow jacket, silver helmet, black pants, and black sun glasses.
