Free Group Ride
Friday Riders: Two Lakes, Two Parks & Maybe Some Mountain Vistas
Event has already happened.
We'll ride mostly quiet suburban streets to Centennial Park in Bothell, explore the hidden delights of some cul-de-sacs in Lynnwood, then head up to Silver Lake in Everett in the Interurban Trail. We'll stop for lunch at Piroshky & Crepes before returning to our starting point at Martha Lake Aiport Park. It's that wet time of the year, so be sure your bike is equipped with fenders.
Please arrive early for the safety briefing. We will try to leave promptly at 11am.
If it's raining, snowy, icy, or extremely windy that day, I'll post a cancellation notice here by 9:00 am. If it looks like intermittant rain showers, I'll be at the ride start and will consult the Dark Sky app to make my decision about riding or not. Feel free to call me at 425-238-4045 for updates that morning.
Directions to start: From I-5 just north of Lynnwood, take the 164th St. SW exit and turn onto 164th heading east towards Mill Creek. Turn left (north) at the 2nd traffic light after the freeway, at Meadow Road. Turn right at 146th St SW, and the park will be on your right just past 4th Ave W.
