Celebrate Veteran's Day with a brisk paced 49 mile somewhat urban ride in North Seattle and southern Snohomish county. Our route will take us north from Woodland Park through Martha Lake to Silver Lake, then return via Edmonds and Shoreline. We'll stop at Walnut Street Coffee in Edmonds for a cup of Joe and a pastry. (For all you veterans, today can count towards your #coffeeneuring goal.) It's that time of year when sporting fenders is neighborly, so please come equipped if the roads are wet. Our goal will be to stay together as best we can, and regroup as needed at the top of the bigger hills -- such as Logan Rd in Alderwood Manor and Ridgefield Rd in Innis Arden. Muster at the lower Woodland Park parking lot near the soccer fields at 0945 for a pre-ride brief, and then we'll roll at the strike of four bells (1000 for you non-Navy cyclists.) We will limit speed to 15mph when on multi-use path sections of the Interurban Trail.

- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
