Event has already happened.
The basic route is a counter-clockwise loop of Lake Washington. Depending on weather and mood of the group, route may be shortened at the Leschi stop to cross the lake on I-90 trail, loop Mercer Island or go through Seattle to Magnolia or Green Lake. Start at Logboom or meet us at the Leschi Starbucks at about 11:15 - contact the ride leader if you have questions about this. Check with leader if weather appears questionable. Fenders and mud flaps appreciated if rain is expected. We usually stop for lunch, depending on route and weather.
No route or cue sheet is provided. We will regroup as frequently as necessary.
If steady rain is forecast for the start time, the moderate pace leader will not be at the start location, and the cancellation will be posted here no later than 8:00 day of ride.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
