Event has already happened.
Join us for a 48 mile urban hilly ride from Woodland Park to Edmonds and return. We'll visit Vetoux Roasters in Bryant near the finish, a cycling themed cafe. Our pace will be at the vigorous level of effort (19-20mph on the flat sections). That said, this ride has lots of ups and downs, including climbs out of Green Lake, Golden Gardens, Carkeek Park, Briarcrest, and Ravenna Park, so our actual speed will vary. While on short sections of multi-use trails, we'll limit speed to 15mph. We will regroup at the top of steeper grades, and do our best to remain together as a group. Be prepared for wet roads, so fenders appreciated if it's drizzling.
Meet at the Lower Woodland Park parking lot, near the soccer fields at 0845 for pre-ride briefing and safety instructions. Rolling promptly at 0900.
