Renton to Madison Park - Mentoring Opportunity
Event has already happened.
Very scenic 32-mile ride at a relaxing steady pace (12-14 mph) from Old Renton City Hall to Madison Park via Kennydale along Lake Wash. Blvd, across Mercer Island and the I-90 bridge with a stop at Starbucks at Madison Park. We'll return via Lake Wash Blvd along Seward Park. This is a stay-together ride with emphasis on safe group riding skills and we welcome new or beginning level riders. We'll climb several moderate hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. This ride wil take about 3.5 to 4 hours including several breaks. Please arrive 20 minutes before start time of 9:30 a.m. to check your bike, sign the waiver and attend the safety briefing. Restrooms available near start location.
Stops: Enatai Park (mile 8), Madison Park coffee break ( mile 19), Seward Park (mile 26).
Mentoring opportunity for upcoming ride leader if we have 6 riders, please call or text me in advance at 206-909-5441.
