Event has already happened.
Join me on a ride through my hometown, Olympia, as we tour some of the beautiful trails and enjoy the sights in and around the state capital. We'll head west via the Woodland Creek Trail, head through downtown and then the westside, then along Madrona Beach Rd and the Steamboat Island area. Next we'll head out Delphi Rd and through a section of the Capitol State Forest, with a short visit to Mima Mounds, continue to Littlerock, then head back North to Tumwater and make our way back to the Chehalis Western Trail and the start.
There will be roughly 3000' of elevation with a couple of mile-long climbs, along with shorter steep climbs and several rollers. We will regroup at the top of hills as needed. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to hear the SMART talk and have enough time to be ready to ride at 9.
Please print cue sheets and bring all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc. Bring adequate food and water as there may be limited opportunities to purchase along the way. Fenders much appreciated by the riders behind you in wet conditions!
