Walla Walla - Fall Weekend Getaway (Oct 10-12)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Come join us for our annual fall trip to beautiful Walla Walla. You will love the change of pace from Seattle -- long stretches of road with little traffic, less hurried drivers, and lots of great sights to see. This is a three day weekend of riding, but feel free to join for whichever rides work for your schedule -- Saturday (9 AM), Sunday (9 AM), and Monday (9 AM). Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start time to sign a liability form and get ready to roll out at the time listed. We will start the weekend with a nice 69/50 mile ride on Saturday (shorter for steady/moderate paces), followed by the longest ride on Sunday (77/70 miles), then shorter recovery ride on Monday (34/25 miles). Paces offered will be steady (12-14 on flats), moderate (14-16 mph on flats), brisk (16-18 on flats), vigorous (18-20 on flats) and strenuous (20-22 on flats).
Monday's finale ride will start from Pioneer Park in Walla Walla (off Whitman street past the Aviary) about 5-10 minutes from downtown Walla Walla. We will ride a loop to the east side of town, going past some well-known wineries.
