Take a Tour 'round the Town with She Bikes.
Have you ever wanted to ride through downtown but weren't sure of a bike-friendly way from point A to B? Have you wondered where to find assistance should you need it en route? And what exactly are those green bikes you see parked around town? For answers to these and other burning bikey questions, this ride is for you.
We'll make our way along typically used bike routes, find where the bike shops are located, experience a festival street and a protected bike lane. Our midpoint is the grand opening of Public Bikes where there will be free food, refreshment and music.
Meet at MOHAI in South Lake Union Park at 1:00. We'll head out around 1:15 and make our way through town.
Return to MOHAI when we are done at the midpoint.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
