This is an early start 55 mile Brisk training loop in South King county Starting at the lake Meridian Park & Ride in east Kent and passing through Covington, Green Valley, Black Diamond, the Green River Gorge, Cumberland, Ravensdale and Maple Valley. The ride has some of the best So King has to offer. This is a training ride so we'll keep stopping to a minimum and try to be done by noon. There are a couple of decent hills, at the tops of which we will regroup. Come early enough to sign the waiver and hear the ride briefing. Be prepared to handle minor mechanicals (we will stay to gether for minor mechanicals) and be able to navigate back to the start should you encounter a major breakdown. There are no bathrooms at the start but there are numerous business nearby. If necessary we will stop at Lake Meridian park at the 3 mile point for a quick bathroom break.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
