Free Group Ride
Everett - Lynnwood - Edmonds loop
Event has already happened.
Not Riding (or working) STP this year? Come join me for a 42 mile loop through Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Everett, NorthCreek, and Edmonds. (Skipping the Edmonds portion cuts about 13 miles if you want a shorter option.)
Start: Meet at the SE corner of the Lynnwood Transit Center, next to the Interurban Trail, in Lynnwood.
Route: The route starts with a couple of miles on the Interurban Trail, and then goes on urban/suburban city streets through south Snohomish County.
Pace: I will lead this ride at a low Brisk pace, meaning more time in the 16-17 MPH range than in the 17-18 MPH range. Faster riders are welcome to start with the group, but bring a route sheet because once you're off the front, you are on your own.
Stops: MP 12.7 Willis Tucker Park (restrooms only), MP 27.5 Urban City Coffee (coffee/snack stop, not a lunch stop)
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally, especially at the top of climbs. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. Steady rain cancels the ride, but the Ride Leader will be at the start just in case.

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
