Join us for a training ride after work as we climb out of the valley on a "secret" road that is closed to vehicle traffic, and up to the West Hill area around Military Road before we come back down to the valley and return via the Interurban Trail next to Emerald Downs. Most roads we will ride have wide shoulders or relatively low traffic. This is a slightly revised version of a ride I posted a couple times in May, with a new starting location.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to hear the SMART talk and have enough time to be ready to ride at 6:00.
Please print cue sheets and bring all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc.
Please bring water and nutrition, no stops are planned.
Fenders appreciated by the riders behind you if there is a chance of rain!
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
