Marymoor, Carnation, Union Hill, Redmond Ridge - FRUMPS
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a social ride with an emphasis on quiet backroads. There are restrooms at the start. We’ll take a short restroom / water break after climbing to Beaver Lake Park (mile 9), then enjoy a long, fast descent into the scenic Snoqualmie Valley. After lunch in Carnation we’ll return to Marymoor Park via Union Hill and Redmond Ridge.
Meet at the Subway café near the tennis courts in Marymoor Park. Bring a dollar bill for parking.
Riders should be able to maintain a high moderate pace, approximately 16 mph, on flats with no wind. We will regroup at the tops of major hills.
Please bring equipment to fix a flat and know how to use it. We will try to wait for mechanicals but may not be able to wait for everything. Make sure you know the way back in case you get separated from the group. You can print the map/cue sheet (see below) and/or load it onto your GPS device.
The ride will start at 10:00 a.m. sharp so please arrive at the starting point early enough to prepare, sign the waiver, and go through the S.M.A.R.T. safety briefing.
