Meet at the Bitter Lake Community Center. Ride the Interurban Trail south about a mile. Then ride on bike lanes and quiet streets to the Burke Gilman Trail. Heading west ride through Ballard to the trail end at the beach. Back to the Locks area for lunch and amble through the Car Show. At 2 PM we enjoy the Elliott Bay Pipes and Drum Band. Then back up the hill, slow and steady, most of it on a bike lane. Bring your bicycle lock.
