Event has already happened.
We'll catch the 10:20 ferry to Southworth and ride to Port Orchard, with a sidetrip to Manchester State Park. This is a beautiful ride, mostly along the water and mostly flat with just a few hills. We'll have lunch a quick lunch in Port Orchard and return by the same route - minus the sidetrip. Bring money for the ferry and for lunch. And bring some camel chow.
Make sure to park in the UPPER parking lot at Lincoln Park - the lower lot has a time limit. If you miss us at the parking lot, join us at the ferry terminal.
This ride is a mentoring opportunity for ride leader candidates who have completed the ride leader training class. The ride leader will not be at the ride start should weather meet the definition for cancellation (steady rain). Ride cancellation will be announced in the Comments Section below at least two (2) hours prior to the ride start and the ride leader will monitor the phone and email listed.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
