Free Group Ride
A Variety Route from Canyon Park
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Invitation: Come and enjoy Chuck Schultz become a ride leader today as he leads and sweeps us on a variety package of a route through rural Snohomish, urban Woodinville and Bothell's industrial park! It'll be fun.
Start location: The Canyon Park P&R is close to the I-405/WA-527 intersection. We will meet at the NE corner of the Park and Ride, close to 17th Ave SE.
Reststop: MP 12.5 Maltby Park (restrooms only)
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain/snow cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by noon in the comment section. In that case the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.
Your RSVP on Meetup is much appreciated.
