After an optional visit to Roozengaarde Garden ($5) early, the ride continues north pass tulips fields, Padilla Bay Nature Area, Bayview State Park, and stops for lunch in Edison. Tweets, Edison Cafe, or Rhododendron Cafe (Bow) are you choices for lunch. Expect head winds on return to Mt Vernon. Steady rain at start will cancel ride, but leader will visit garden and go to Edison for lunch. Please plan on getting to Edgewater Park by 9:45 am, since all should be ready to go at 10 am. Plan on heavy traffic into and out of Mt. Vernon.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
