Renton-South Lake Loop
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a great opportunity to prepare for this year’s road riding events. We’ll start at the Old Renton City Hall and head east to Lake Washington Blvd, and ride counterclockwise to connect to Bellevue, Mercer Island, the I-90 Trail and Seattle; and return to Renton. There will be no food/coffee stops for this ride; so please bring enough food and drink to ensure you are energized throughout the ride.
Riders should bring a spare tube, tools and the know-how to fix a flat. Please arrive at the start by 8:40 am for the safety briefing so we can roll promptly at 10:00 am. Restrooms are located approx. ¼ mile northeast of the start (turn left onto Houser Way from the south end of the parking lot…use the sidewalk to go to the restrooms due to heavy car volume).
The ride leaders will not be at the ride start should inclement weather meets the definition for cancellation (steady rain and ice/snow). Ride cancellation will be announced in the Comments Section below and on Meetup at least two (2) hours prior to the ride start. If you have questions about the weather, please call 818-590-8167 and/or 425-208-9408, preferably before you leave for the ride.
Also, ice/snow cancel ride.
