Free Group Ride
TREATS:Annual Tulip Pedal; Very slow Steady
Event has already happened.
This is a very social ride with a lot of stops to see the tulip fields and some art venues. Bring snacks/lunch and water as we will just have a short food stop in LaConner; there will be time there for coffee but not a sit down lunch. The location of tulip fields changes every year so the mileage is approximate. If there are cyclists who want a longer ride they can leave the official ride independently unless there is a leader to take them; maps are available. At the end of the ride we may go for a "real" lunch, or some may want to return to the display garden where there is a fee and take their time. If it is raining the tulip blossoms close up so we will not ride in the rain. There may be other "Tulip" viewing rides on the Cascade calendar if it is raining today. Check the whole Rides Calendar for April.
Take Exit 226 from I5, go through town and turn left immediately after crossing the bridge.
