Gas Works to Edmonds
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for an urban ride from Gas Works park to Edmonds via Green Lake, the Interurban Trail, and the Innis Arden neighborhood. We’ll return down the North Seattle ridge, turning off Phinney Ridge to descend through Ballard to the Burke Gilman trail and the ship canal.
Be ready to ride by 9:50am so you can sign in and hear the safety briefing before we roll at 10:00am.
Riders should be able to sustain 14-16 mph on flats. We'll pause on major climbs to regroup.
Bring equipment to fix a flat, and know how to use it. We will try to wait for mechanicals but may not be able to wait for everything. Make sure you know the way back, either by loading up your favorite GPS device and/or by printing out a cue sheet.
Showers or severe weather cancels. Weather cancellation will be announced on the ride listing on cascade.org and meetup.com by 8:00am. In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the ride start. Call the ride leader before you leave home if you have questions.
