EARTHDREAM Rides Around Two Lakes
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This ride is designed for a winter-weather day. It starts at Log Boom Park in Kenmore and immediately heads in to Seattle, where temperatures are usually a couple of degrees warmer. We circle Lake Washington, and when we get to the Eastside we cut over to Issaquah and go around Lake Samammish as well. This ride has a few hills, but also has some long flat stretches that allow for some fast riding. It mostly stays at lower elevations and follows bodies of water, which (hopefully) will moderate the temperatures. We will plan on two rest stops, one at Gene Coulon Park in Renton, and one at Marymoor Park in Redmond. This ride is posted at a vigorous pace, but we will need to go slower on the Burke Gilman Trail out of respect for the local speed limit.
