Free Group Ride
GWP Alki Loop
Event has already happened.
Standard easy route from Gas Works Park to Alki. There will be no regroups for the flat portion of the ride and it will be led at an average moderate pace, 14-16 mph. Riders going excessively slower or faster than the majority of the group will be self guided, please print a cue sheet from the route map provided if you think you will need it. There is a restroom at the start and along the route. We will have a short break for coffee and a light snack at Tully's. This is a mentor ride for a prospective ride leader.
Be sure your bike is in good working order and bring what you need to be able to repair your own flats. We do not plan to stop for or assist with minor mechanical repairs. Rain will cancel or shorten the ride depending on severity. Fenders are required if we decide to ride in wet weather. If the weather is good, there may be an option for one of the ride leaders to take interested riders on a loop around magnolia to add some mild hill climbing and extra miles to the ride.
