Free Group Ride
Lakes to Sound Loop
Event has already happened.
A social and fitness ride tracing routes from Lake Union to Lake Washington then onto Alki before heading back to Gas Works Park. I plan on leading at a consistent moderate pace with occasional regroups as necessary. The route does have two decent hill climbs and other small climbs along the first half of the route. Riders going excessively slower or faster than the majority of the group will be self guided, please print a cue sheet from the route map provided if you think you will need it. There will be three restroom opportunities along the route and one short break for coffee and a light snack at Alki Beach. If you are familiar with the Seattle area you're welcome to join for part of the route at the beginning, please let me know if you plan to split off at any point during the route. Be sure your bike is in good working order and bring what you need to be able to repair your own flats. I do not plan to stop for or assist with minor mechanical repairs.
RSVP via the Meetup Link below is appreciated but not required.
