A lovely out-and-back on the Mountain Loop Highway. The Fall scenery should be good. There's only ~2500' of climbing as Barlow Pass is at 2400'. There is one 6% climb of about 300'; the rest of the climbing is mostly 1%-3%, a long shallow grade. We will lead this ride on our tandem, so our climbing will be slower than most Brisk rides and our descent somewhat faster. We emphasize safe, cooperative riding.
Meet at 9:00 in the Granite Falls IGA parking lot. Park on the west side of the lot, far from the store entrance. Roll out at 9:30.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
