Newport Hills-May Valley Rd-Cedar River Trail-Lk Washington Trail
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
A nice autumn ride in quiet neighborhoods (downtown Renton is a little less quiet, although the ride through is short), pastoral May Valley Road, Cedar Grove Road and then the trail on the Cedar River. If desired, we can stop by the river for a couple of minutes to see the fish going up to spawn, then have a coffee/snack stop at Panera Breads in Renton Landing before the last few miles along Lake Washington.
Very few hills, none steep. Will regroup at the top of any rollers.
There is a State Park rest stop at about mile 10, and I'm told the Park & Ride has a port-a-potty.
I will have my phone with me all morning in case the weather is 'iffy'. Will post on Cascade's site if I know we will be cancelling two hours prior.
