Calling North Seattle Cyclists! Come out for this vigorous effort (19mph) 42 mile route from Greenlake to Lynnwood via Ballard, and return via Kenmore. We'll tackle a couple of big hills: out of Carkeek Park and NE 65th St, westbound from Magnusen Park. Our reward: Some awesome views of the Olympics and Cascades, Puget Sound, and a stop at Mighty-O donuts in Tangletown near the finish. (We will observe the 15mph speed limit when on the Burke Gilman.) Meet at the south west corner parking lot of Woodland Park, just west of the tennis courts on N 50th St. We'll have our ride brief before rolling out (to our first hill!) at 0900. This will be a great early fall ride!
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
