Please ride with me on a "Bike Train" to the Caleb Shoop Memorial Walk in Kenmore.  

Gather outside the Cascade offices in Magnuson Park at 3:45--we'll leave promptly at 4:00 in order to make the 5:00 start of the memorial walk. (Google says it's 36 minutes). Once there, we will walk our bikes along to the spot for remembrance or park your bike and walk.  If you are late but want to ride on your own, the address is Church of the Redeemer, 6211 NE 182nd St, Kenmore WA, 98028 

Bring adequate lighting as we will be returning in the dark.

Terrain indicates the most common or average terrain type of the ride and should be considered relative to the length and overall difficulty of the ride. For example, a long-distance ride with a lot of elevation gain will be overall less challenging than a short ride with equal elevation gain. Consider the pace and frequency of regroup as well to understand how advanced a ride may be.

  • Mostly flat: Trails and/or mostly flat roads with a possible gentle uphill
  • Rolling: Climbs are short and easy, not too numerous
  • Some hills: A few short, steep hills, some moderate upgrades and/or longer gentle climbs
  • Hilly: Consistent or continuous climbing
  • Off-road: Significant unpaved sections
