This will be a high end moderate pace ride. We meet, start, and end at the Green Lake Park and Ride in Seattle. It is a somewhat long distance route ranging from 60-70 miles with 2500-3000 feet of elevation and a decent amount of hills to climb depending on the route I lead us on. This will be a stay together ride with regroups as necessary when separated by traffic and hill climbs but we will not wait for mechanical failures. Please be capable of fixing your own flats and other minor mechanical failures and be sure you are fit to do a ride of this caliber at the advertised pace if you plan to join. Having a cell phone and money for bus fare or an Orca Card is a good idea for unplanned emergencies. The planned route is to ride up to Everett, connect to Snohomish, then back through Maltby and Woodinville en route back to Seattle. There will be restroom and water filling stops periodically. Bring some cash or other method of payment for the lunch stop in Snohomish and a dessert stop in Maltby, each stop being around 20 minutes long.
Please RSVP via the meetup link below if you plan to attend.
