Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Not riding the STP but still want to ride, here you go! We'll hit Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothel, Woodinville, Redmond and Issaquah on this ride. And the Cuban? We'll stop for the most amazing cuban sandwiches for lunch in Woodenville.
Parking Instructions: South Bellevue Park and Ride. Take I-90 to Bellevue Way exit. Park and Ride will be on your right. There are no restrooms or water at the ride start parking lot though we will make a quick stop at Bellevue Park.
Our route starts out on the 1-90 trail. After riding past the gated mansions of Medina, there's a short section of construction where we must bear left through a barricade and onto a rough road ready for re-surfacing. We’ll then reach busy, downtown Kirkland before climbing Market Street hill, 100th Ave and Waynita Way. At the Wayne Golf Course be prepared again to dismount and walk across their graveled parking lot. A short stretch along the Burke-Gilman Trail brings us to the first rest stop, Blythe Park in Bothell. From there, the ride is pan-flat along Riverside Dr., Woodinville Dr. and Woodinville-Redmond Rd. For about 2 miles, we’ll be on the Sammamish River Trail, so please be very cautious and courteous, as there may be many non-cyclists using it. Remember: they have priority over cyclists! We will ride south along Willows Rd, bypassing downtown Redmond before reaching Marymoor Park for our second optional rest stop. Our route continues the relatively flat east side of Lake Sammamish, crosses Issaquah and then gradually climbs Newport Way for about 3 miles. We will have a final, optional rest stop at Tibbetts Park before making a long, winding descent to Lake Washington Blvd. We’ll then cross Mercer Slough and head north to Bellevue. Ride leader mentoring available. Contact ride leader if questionable weather.
By the way... which one's pink?
