Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This ride will start at the Old Renton City Hall. We will start the ride in a counter-clockwise direction around lower Lake Washington with a clockwise loop around Mercer Island, then cross the I-90 bridge to Leschi. We will stop at Starbucks for coffee. Bring $ for coffee and a pastry. We will continue the ride down to Seward Park and then back to Renton via Rainier Ave. Our pace will be steady (12-14mph) on the flats with no wind. With a tailwind we may ride a little faster and with a headwind the pace will be slower.
SPECIAL NOTE: Steady rain will cancel the ride, I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Weather Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and email listed in the Contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
