Gas Works Park to Edmonds Loop

Please RSVP via the Meetup link below, it is helpful for the ride leaders to know how many people plan to attend the ride. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early for the pre-ride briefing. Bring the necessary tools and items to repair or replace a flat tube and know how to use them. It's still the rainy season, at least a rear fender on your bike is recommended in consideration of riders behind you. A full set will reduce how wet you get in the rain and make the ride more pleasant for you and everyone else on the ride. Bring a water bottle or two to hydrate during the ride and some snacks to nibble on along the way or at the planned stop in Edmonds. This is a fitness and social ride from Gas Works Park in the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle to Edmonds via North Seattle, the Interurban Trail, Shoreline, and Woodway. There will be a short rest stop in Edmonds with snack and beverage opportunities. We will return to Gas Works via Shoreline, down the hill on NE Perkins Way, and connect with the Burke Gilman trail all the way back to the start point. Riders wishing to go faster or slower can do so self guided for this portion of the ride. There will be an optional social gathering post ride at the Fremont Dock for a meal and recovery drink, please bring a method of payment for yourself if you wish to participate and get to know your fellow riders better. 

Print your own cue sheets from the RideWithGPS link below if you are unfamiliar with any of the route. We will regroup as necessary after hills and at traffic lights. Otherwise if you cannot keep the advertised pace on flats with no headwind, you will be self guided.
