Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Are you ready to shake off winter with a three-ring circus of Kidical Mass fun?? OK, not exactly a three-ring circus as we'll move from one activity to the next, but we guarantee you'll feel like you're at the circus.
Sunday, April 6
Gas Works Park (2101 N Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103)
Staring at noon
First up: Seattle Family Biking meetup!
Bring your bike and your kids, or come wheel-less to check out many of the family biking options and get inspired. We'll share ideas and conduct test rides and having a little obstacle course of cones set up for the kids.
Noon to 1:30-ish
Act two: Kidical Mass ride!
Just a simple two-mile spin along the Burke-Gilman Trail from Gas Works Park to Hale's Palladium (4301 Leary Way NW, Seattle, WA 98107). We'll aim to leave around 1:30 to give the Moisture-Festival-goers plenty of time to arrive by 2:30.
Those not attending the Moisture Festival should come ride, too!
And the grand finale: Moisture Festival!
Variete Matinee at 3pm is a family-friendly performance. From Red Tricycle:
"Experience great family entertainment at this year's Moisture Festival. At the all ages variety shows, see awe-inspiring physical and mental dexterity combined with poignant moments of strength and delicate beauty and plenty of LOL moments. Plus, a live show band provides the underlying pulse that propels the show to create a fantastic family entertainment experience.
Note: This venue is festival seating; doors will open a half hour before showtime. Carnival style snacks will be available for purchase at Concessions along with a selection of Hale's Ales, sodas, and other beverages."
