Let's get out and do a moderately brisk ride around Lake Sammamish to ensure we are nicely warmed up for CHEW #1 on Sunday.

Starting at the Free East Parking lot in Marymoor Park we'll go through the park out and left on West Lake Sammamish. We'll stay on West Lake Sammamish until we reach the Tulley's coffee shop down in Issaquah. We'll stop here for Coffee/Tea/Cakes before heading back out on East Lake Sammamish back up to Marymoor Park.

This is a stay together social ride so if you plan on coming along to race then please find another ride.

Please ensure you have spare tubes for flats and wear appropriate cycle wear including a valid helmet.

What Terrain Means

Terrain indicates the most common or average terrain type of the ride and should be considered relative to the length and overall difficulty of the ride. For example, a long-distance ride with a lot of elevation gain will be overall less challenging than a short ride with equal elevation gain. Consider the pace and frequency of regroup as well to understand how advanced a ride may be.

  • Mostly flat: Trails and/or mostly flat roads with a possible gentle uphill
  • Rolling: Climbs are short and easy, not too numerous
  • Some hills: A few short, steep hills, some moderate upgrades and/or longer gentle climbs
