Free Group Ride
January Kidical Mass
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Put those New Year's Resolutions on the back burner and come ride bikes to doughnuts and a kid-friendly brewery!
Kick off the 2014 season of Kidical Mass with a return to the birthplace of Seattle Kidical Mass–Ballard, a.k.a. "The Portland of Seattle"!
Gather outside the Ballard Library at 11:00 a.m. and ride by 11:20.
We'll ride along the Ballard Greenway and make our way to Gilman Playground where kids can get some wiggles out while we pool money and a few of us run down to Top Pot Doughnuts for treats to go.
Then we'll head as a group to Reuben's Brews, member of the ParentMap Kid- and Bike-Friendly Breweries in Greater Seattle list.
This is a good route for small kids to ride their own bikes along. Kids (accompanied by grown up) are always welcome to ride their own bikes, but due to our city's terrain some rides are easier for little riders than others.
Optional: RSVP on Facebook.
Notes:
We'll meet at the Ballard Library before opening and the Gilman Playground restrooms are closed for the winter so please plan accordingly.
Reuben's Brews allows outside food so bring snacks/lunch along if doughnuts don't cut it.
Our route won't visit the very recent changes to The Missing Link, but you might want to check it out while you're in the area.
Seattle Kidical Mass rides occur the first Sunday of each month, times and places vary.
