Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a S.L.O.W. Ride for Senior Ladies* On Wheels (*all riders of all ages welcome as long as you ride S.L.O.W!). Starting from the Northwest African American Museum on the I-90 lid, we will view artworks in Central Seattle by Seattle African American artists James Washington, Jr and Monad Elohim Graves. We may be able to tour the James and Janie Washington Washington Foundation studio and historical site. We will stop midway for refreshments at one of many Central District cafes. The route follows low-traffic neighborhood streets including proposed greenways; on a few higher traffic sections we will use sidewalks. Hills on the route are modest but riders are welcome to walk on steeper sections; the slowest rider always sets the pace!
