Newport Hills - May Valley - Lake Sammamish Loop
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Come join us for a fun day before Christmas ride.
This ride is similar to Allan Lawrence’s “May Valley - Lake Sammamish Loop”. As described by Alan this is “a beautiful ride through rural-feeling May Valley Road, through Issaquah and around Lake Sammamish. We'll stop at Whole Foods in Redmond for a bit of lunch before heading back around the east side of the lake and back to Bellevue”
Our version of it will be faster (brisk vs moderate), add a few miles by taking Issaquah – Hobart road instead of Renton Issaquah road (900) and will include one more climb on the way back: Cougar Mountain via 164th and Lakemont.
I will be riding with my wife on our tandem which usually means a relatively fast brisk pace on flat but slower pace uphill.
Please note there is no restroom at the starting point (Newport Hills P&R).
