S.L.O.W. (Senior Ladies* On Wheels) Ride: Free Day at Wing Luke Museum (Easy)
Event has already happened.
S.L.O.W. Ride for Senior Ladies* On Wheels (*all riders of all ages welcome). Join us for an easy, social ride and a chance to learn about some of Seattle's little-known heroes. The new exhibit, "Grit: Asian Pacific Pioneers Across the Northwest" explores the lives of the men and women who arrived in the Pacific Northwest from the Asia Pacific starting in the late 18th century, and their stories of survival and resilience. We start riding at the Northwest African American Museum by the I-90 trail, ride the trail to Jose Rizal Bridge, cross the bridge on the sidewalk, then follow King Street to the International District to visit Wing Luke Museum. Free on first Thursdays and 3rd Saturdays! We will then find a place for lunch in the International District. Pace: easy, 3.5 miles, gentle slopes, mostly on trails or sidewalks, stay together, no rain cancellation.
