Winthrop Gravel Tour 2024 Photo Album

  • 200 people joined us in Washington state's scenic Methow Valley for three days of exploration, adventure, and post-ride socializing during the Winthrop Gravel Tour 2024.
  • Enjoy the photos of happy riders, big skies, winding country roads, and valley views.
  • Due to their small size and incredible popularity, Cascade will give Members first priority when registering for Tours in 2025.

Washington state's Methow Valley is an outdoor recreation paradise with endless miles of low-traffic country roads and gravel routes that wind upward into the mountains and hills around the charming Western-themed town of Winthrop.

This is where 200 lucky riders gathered for three days of bicycling and camaraderie during the second annual Winthrop Gravel Tour over Father's Day Weekend (June 14-16).

Due to the incredible popularity and small size of our Tours (registrations are capped at 200 people), Cascade will give members first priority when signing up for our 2025 Tours. Another great reason to become a Cascade member!

Now take a moment to enjoy the photos of scenic riding, colorful landscapes, big skies and even bigger smiles from the Winthrop Gravel Tour 2024. If you missed out on Winthrop, we still have a few spaces available on our Port Townsend or Lake Chelan tours in August and September.

 Maxwell Burton
Cascade staff member Maxwell Burton was among the many Outriders who were on hand to help with mechanical issues and flat tires. Note the massive trailer of Outrider supplies he pulled all three days!

Zavi and Rachel
Staff members Zavi Veliz and Rachel Longest also worked as Outriders and camped with many participants at the Pine Near RV Park & Campground where rides began and ended daily.

rest stop
Cascade provides abundant rest stops with water and snacks plus a lunch stop with sandwiches from local restaurants. Nobody goes hungry on a Cascade tour!

Squiggle in the sky

Cascade's three-day tours are a favorite of Cascade staff and Board members for good reason: they are a fully supported and affordable opportunity to explore our state's most scenic locations over a long weekend with no more than 200 fellow riders--plus social occasions in the evenings.

Register for Port Townsend Tour, Aug. 16-18

Register for Lake Chelan Tour, Sept 27-29

Thank you to everyone who participated, and to the residents of Winthrop for providing a lovely and friendly setting for our Winthrop Gravel Tour. See you there again in 2025!
