When I first saw my friends Alan and Cariann at Seattle Bike Swap and E-Bike Expo, they were trying on new Endura rain jackets and had just begun their bike shopping spree.

When I bumped into them three hours later, they had scored so many deals on helmets, saddles, shorts, pants, bike locks, and panniers that they bought a used bike trailer to hold all their new stuff. "We scored big time!" Alan said as he pulled the fully loaded trailer out of Exhibition Hall.

The 2024 Seattle Bike Swap and E-Bike Expo on Feb. 3 was a smoking hot success. The bargains were bananas. The smiles were abundant and bonafide.

Multiple electric bike vendors offered test rides and discounts on electric bikes. After signing out an e-bike, customers rode out the back of Exhibition Hall and took a spin around the Seattle Center grounds.
