Cloudy or Rainy! Table Tennis Time! (Moderate)

Join us for a ride from Gas Works Park on a 15 mile route at a moderate pace at 14-16mph!

That's right, you heard it! If we have rain or if it's cloudy we are riding.

If you are looking to ride on protected bicycle lanes, and quiet streets, sit and conversate at a coffee shop, and play table tennis, sign up! We will begin our ride at Gas Works Park, where we will ride towards Capitol Hill for a 30-minute coffee stop. After exploring Capitol Hill we will head towards Chinatown to play table tennis (otherwise known as ping pong) for 30 minutes. Soon after we will ride through Pike Place Market and Lake Union.

Please note: The ride leader highly advises that participants bring a pair of athletic shoes in a backpack or a pannier bag. The ride leader will bring rackets and balls!

Let's meet at the start and please be ready to ride at 10 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start (porta-potty) and or at the end of the ride. Our coffee stop will also have a restroom.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is canceled at least two hours prior to the start, the Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
