**CANCELLED** North Lake Washington Mercer Island with extras

Join us for a fun ride from Lake Forest Park Town Center on a 59 mile route at Brisk 16-18 mph!  

Come along for a challenging version of the north end of Lake Washington cutting across I-90 via South Mercer Island. This is not the classic route. We will visit Holmes Point, Medina, Laurelhurst, and Windermere neighborhoods as well. This route has low traffic with a lot of hills.

Let's meet at the upper north parking lot across from Lake Forest Park Bar & Grill and please be ready to ride at 9:45am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH sometimes 10).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 13. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks Leschi at mile 37.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
