TREATS: Renton/196th/Tiger Mountain
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
A hilly scenic route that features a 1 mile challenging climb (196th), a 2 mile moderate climb (Tiger Mountain) and lots of rollers and pretty rural territory. Unlike most TREATS rides, there is not a good option for a lunch stop but there is a convenience store and espresso stand at mile 23 and an optional Starbucks visit near the end of the ride. Bring lots of pocket snacks and money for food/coffee purchase if desired.
Ron Regis Park has a sanican but no water. Bring full water bottles.
Please arrive and be ready to ride by 9:50 so we can have the safety briefing and depart promptly at 10am. If I need to cancel the ride due to inclement weather I will do so by 7:30am on ride day in the comments section below and then will not be at the start. Rain during the ride could amend the route.
If you have a Cascade account you may register online by selecting the register button at the top of this posting. You may also sign in at the ride start. If your plans change you do not need to unregister. Please print your own cue sheet from the link provided.
NOTE: If you want to contact me or have questions about this ride I prefer you do so by email at the address listed above rather than using the comments section. You may also text me.
