This tour will explore many of the wonderful places on Bainbridge that you may have biked by without stopping. Early on we will stop at Rolling Bay for coffee and the wonderful Garden store. Next- a brief stop at Fay Bainbridge Park. Then to Lynnwood to ride out on White Point and yes up Baker Hill, with a fabulous straightaway back down to Lynnwood for a lunch stop. Then a flat ride through Fort Ward Park, a ride up to Hall Hill Overlook, then down to Rockaway Beach and then to the Japanese Exclusion Memorial. We will end the day at the Ale House near the ferry for a beer. This is a social ride to enjoy the island.
Folks from Seattle should catch the 8:45 ferry. Meet at the Bike Barn on the right as you come off the ferry. Please copy the cue sheet from Ride With GPS. Extra copies will not be provided.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
