Seattle voters have an incredible opportunity to create a more bikeable future for Seattle during this year's City Council elections. Voters will choose seven of nine Seattle City Council members during the November elections and the August primary that will narrow the field.
Where do the candidates stand on mobility issues? Find out this month during four candidate forums that Cascade and a range of community organizations including our sister organization Washington Bikes are co-hosting.

This is an incredible opportunity to elect a council that supports bicycling and will invest in a safer and more bikeable city. With four incumbent council members stepping down, your voice and vote will shape the new council and determine its transportation funding priorities.
The Seattle City Council approves the city budget and approves policies that impact how people get around. Next year, the council will approve a new transportation levy that will determine the city's transportation priorities. Join us throughout June to ensure the voices of people who bike, walk, and roll are heard.
