Pre-ride
Develop or choose a safe, established route suitable for the intended group of riders (e.g. low traffic volume roads, right turn vs left, visibility, safe regroup points, etc.)

Some of the most common collisions between cars and bikes are preventable by looking out for each other, by being able to see and be seen, and by riding and driving predictably.
