Thanks to your advocacy, much of the Basic Bike Network will be completed this year. Now it’s time to create a citywide network, so that biking is a safe and accessible option for all, across Seattle.

With your help, a connection from the East Lake Sammamish Trail to the Redmond Central Connector on the Eastrail is building a modern transportation system that works for everyone, regardless of how they get around. The new connection fills a key gap in the trails network from Issaquah to Kirkland and beyond, and offers five-star access to light rail in downtown Redmond.

After decades of advocacy, the East Lake Sammamish Trail has cleared the final hurdle. We’re in it for the long haul to see this trail completed. Together, we’ve been there every step of the way.

Check your mail: your ballot has arrived for the August 6 primary! This year, a critical levy is on the ballot in King County to improve parks, trails, and open space. Cascade recommends voting yes on King County Prop 1.
