Transfer Policy for Cascade Classes

Guidelines:

  • There is a nominal processing fee to transfer.
  • You can transfer within your class type and price, such as to a different maintenance or different ebike class. 
  • Once a transfer is purchased, a transfer code is generated and emailed to the registrant. This code is non-refundable and expires at the end of the calendar year.
  • A purchased transfer code is not an active registration until redeemed. How to redeem details are listed below.
  • If you decide to sell your transfer code to another potential student, the sale of a transfer code is considered a private transaction. Cascade Bicycle Club is not responsible for any issues as such.

Transfer deadlines:

A student may purchase a ticket to transfer their registration up to 3 days before their registered class. The transfer coupon will expire at the end of the calendar year and can only be redeemed for a class at the same price point with open space available, before close of registration.

How to request a transfer code:

  1. Sign In to your online account
  2. Click "My Account" in the blue bar (top-right corner)
  3. Locate the activity in question (here you will see all upcoming rides/tours you have purchased)
  4. Click the "My Order" (across to the right of the applicable ride/tour)
  5. Click "Purchase Transfer" link (across to the right of the applicable registration)
  6. Click the red "Add to cart" box
  7. All transfer code requests are subject to a $5 processing fee
  8. You will receive the confirmation and transfer code in an automated email

How to redeem a transfer:

  1. Follow the link in the transfer code email to visit the class page.
  2. Click the "Register Now" button for a class of your choice that is the same cost as the class you originally registered for.
  3. Proceed to check out your cart.
  4. IMPORTANT: Enter the transfer code the space provided for Coupon Code and apply it to your order.
  5. Verify that the transfer has been applied and that your order total has been reduced.
  6. Complete checkout.

A transfer is only valid if the receiving student uses their own Cascade account to register normally, before the registration period closes, usually midnight prior to the class. There are no day-of-class transfers. Students registering with a transfer code are subject to the same terms and conditions as every Cascade student.

Q: I have purchased to transfer my registration, and now I have decided I would like to take the class instead of transferring. Is this allowed? 

A: Yes, you may use your transfer code to re-register for the event. 

Q: I have purchased to transfer my registration, but I have misplaced the email which contains the transfer code. What should I do? 

A: Please email info@cascade.org to obtain your purchased transfer code.
