RIDER PACKETS

Packet Mailing

  • Registration purchased on or before April 8 will include FREE packet mailing.

Packet Pickup

  • If you purchase registration on or after April 9, your packet will be available for pickup at the start line.



SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are available for Emerald City Ride registration. To request scholarship aid, please click here and complete the form. Scholarship application closes Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

START LINE

Location

Husky Stadium, south lot, E12.

The ride will start and end just south of the University of Washington Husky Stadium. There will be limited parking available at UW, for those who purchase passes.  We encourage folks to take the light rail, or get a few extra miles in and bike to the start!

7:00 am - 8:30 am: Start line is open.

Getting There

By Bike: Check out the Seattle Bike Map to plan your route.

By Car: Parking lots E-01 and E-18 will be open. Parking must be purchased and is $11 online, $15 from April 8 to the morning of the ride.

By Transit: We encourage folks to take the Link Light Rail, trains arrive every 12 minutes starting at 6 am.  Several bus routes also pass Husky stadium.

Below is the schedule for the 2020 route. Please note that there are hard cut-off times for accessing the I-5 and SR 520 lanes marked with an asterisk (*). Please plan accordingly.

6:00 am Pay parking opens at UW E-18 Lot

6:00 am Packet pickup opens in UW E-12 Lot

7:00 am Start Line opens in UW E-12 lot

7:05 am Access to I-5 Express Lanes opens

7:45 am Access to SR 520 Eastbound lanes opens

8:30 am Start line closes

*8:45 am Access to I-5 Express Lanes closes

8:45 am Finish Line opens in UW E-12 lot

9:30 am Food Stop at Hing Hay Park closes

*9:45 am Access to SR 520 Eastbound lanes closes

11:00 am Finish Line closes

11:30 am Finish Line Expo closes

REST STOPS

Hing Hay Park in the International District

  • Distance: 5.7 miles
  • Open: 7:15 am to 9:30 am
  • Ammenities: Free food, water, port-o-potties, mechanic

Madrona Park 

  • Distance: 9.7 miles
  • Open: 7:30 am to 9:30 am
  • Ammenities: Water, port-o-potties, mechanic

FINISH LINE

Location

Same as the Start Line - 

Husky Stadium, south lot, E12.

Hours

8:45 am to 11:00 am: Finish line is open.

11:30 am: Expo area closes.

Giveaways

All riders will receive a commemorative souvenir that can be picked up from the Cascade booth.
