Friday mornings at 9:45am
Reduce food waste and help feed the community by rescuing food from a local grocery store and bike it to the University District Food Bank. Ride with 5 to 7 other pedaling volunteers to bike to grocery stores in the University District in order to rescue valuable and nutritious food for the University District Food Bank grocery program. If you don't have a cargo bike or bike trailer, let us know we have a whole fleet of bike trailers that we are more than happy to lend out!
Sign up to ride with us at the bottom of this page!
Bike trailers are available for volunteers to use while they are rescuing food and making deliveries. Let us know that you are interested in using a bike trailer through the sign up form and the PRP organizers at the food bank will help you hook a bike trailer up to your bike and answer any questions you have about riding with a trailer.
